Job Overview

As the Design Procurement Manager, you will be the primary representative for the Design team on the Coupa Implementation Project, overseeing the deployment of source-to-contract and procure-to-pay modules. You will play a pivotal role in building Cortland Design’s Third-Party Procurement Business, implementing best-in-class processes to enhance efficiency, and driving value across our procurement functions.

Roles You Will Play

Strategic Procurement Leader

 

Oversee the deployment of source-to-contract and procure-to-pay modules as the primary representative for the Design team on the Coupa Implementation Project.Lead negotiations, RFPs, and bidding processes to secure optimal terms and maximize P&L impact.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost optimization opportunities, such as vendor consolidation and other pricing/quality efficiencies.Develop and enforce procurement policies guidelines and reporting to manage cash-flow and to manage risk, including vendor approval, purchasing thresholds, and other controls.Innovate and drive procurement transformation by implementing best practices for sourcing, delivering FF&E, reporting and improving the overall procurement process. 

Operations and Vendor Relations Expert

 

Partner with leaders across Legal, Operations, IT, and Cortland Build to initiate and review contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance standards.Cultivate strong vendor relationships, ensuring high standards in service, pricing, and quality.Spearhead the selection and management of vendors, warehousing & logistics subcontractors, and other essential procurement areas across the portfolio.Compile and analyze spend and supplier data to support decision-making within the Interior Design department, identifying key trends and cost-saving opportunities. 

Brand and Marketing Champion

 

Manage the Cortland Design website, social media, and brand standards in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications teams.Oversee Interior Design schedules and project photography for marketing, ensuring brand consistency.Track editorial and awards calendars, coordinate award submissions, and represent Cortland Design at industry events.

 

Building Blocks of Success Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on vendor relations and exposure to social media and branding.Strong negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing skills, with proven success in leading RFPs and implementing cost-saving strategies.Proficiency in procurement technology, ideally with Coupa or similar platforms.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial approach to building processes.
