Job Description  Implement, monitor and validate the Design Governance process and procedures for the projects assigned. Monitor and validate the Design performance by the Design Consultants. Manage the Design submissions received from the Design Consultants. Promote design excellence. Assess design submittals and provide recommendation with regard to contractual / scope compliance, alignment with Client’s vision and objectives, RCU Guidelines and Project requirements, including Project Brief, Scope of Works, RIBA Plan of Work, etc. Monitor and report on Design progress and quality. Assess and provide recommendation with regard to the completeness, quality and consistency of any design submission, in relation to the Design stage, Scope of Works and RIBA Plan of Work.  Prepare overarching design programme for the projects assigned, including interface with Proponent, stakeholders, Procurement, Commercial and Construction programmes. Manage Interface Management procedures, including PDO / PMC.  Manage Stakeholders expectations with regard to the Design and engage with key stakeholders, internal and external to RCU.Implement and manage the Design review workflow and process by the LDA Design Review / Technical Assurance team.Advise from technical point of view the Client in relation to the Design status, at any Design stage, and provide recommendations.Control and facilitate Project delivery. Ensure alignment with Design milestones. Monitor and take action on Project risks.  Monitor and validate QA/QC process in Design submission by Design Consultants. Provide basic Project Management services, in relation to schedule, budget, cost, etc. Manage the Common Data Environment allocated to the Project.  Attend project or programme meetings, to assist the above tasks, as well as workshops, site visits, etc., as required. Support and assist the Client in any design-related activity during the Project life cycle. Produce Minutes of Meeting, as required. Review, advise and provide recommendation on procurement of Consultants, including deliverables, scope, durations or fees. Establish Technical Evaluation Criteria, conduct Technical Evaluation, produce Technical Recommendations, etc. Production of RfPs, TRFQs, Scope of Works, Project Briefs, etc. prior to engagement with Consultants or Contractors. Assess any technical documentation, in relation to the D&C Assets Planning & Development Programme, specific or not to a Project. Monitor and validate Design gateways. Manage and record all design deliverables received for the projects assigned. Undertake design presentations. Report on any of the above tasks.
