Design Manager, Social & Digital
Overview We seek a full-time Design Manager, Social & Digital, to be part of the Global Design Communications team in our New York City office. You will help us tell how PepsiCo Design & Innovation is solving real problems for real people in the real world through our award-winning work, design-led business integration, and thought leadership in the design and marketing communities. These stories are told across Global Design’s owned social channels, website (design.pepsico.com), our annual design books, presentations, case-study videos, sizzle reels, and cultural events. Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, Social & Digital, you will collaborate with peers across the design team to manage and deliver high-quality social, digital, and video assets that support our Global Design Communications strategy. This position requires a high level of skill, confidence, and resourcefulness. The role helps support our goal to showcase our best-in-class creative work, the topics of innovation, diversity in design, sustainability, human-centered design, and best practices for integrating an in-house team within a corporation. Responsibilities Owns the design and production of content for owned social and digital channels, ensuring it aligns with our Global Design Communications strategy Conducts brainstorming sessions and collaborates with the design team toward big ideas, innovative executions, and new opportunities for organic social growth Creates static, video, and motion design assets for social, web, and digital media Creates templates, style guides, playbooks, and presentation decks Works with the Sr. Production Manager to develop a monthly content planning calendar and stays current on the latest trends and best practices in social content design Ensures content is produced to agreed scopes and timescales, including integrated projects where digital, print, events, media, and social media components all require cohesion Develops strong relationships with internal peers and collaborates on the execution of shared projects Tracks the performance of social media content and makes data-driven decisions with the Sr. Production Manager and Design Director Partners with agencies, when required, to lead the art direction and storytelling for longer-form videos such as project case studies and sizzle reels Creates quarterly metric reports to review social strategy learnings and pitch new ideas Leads creative on presentations and playbooks for internal and external audiences Manages vendors, budgets, and freelance creatives as required Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
