We are currently seeking a Design for Services Architect who will be responsible for the definition and implementation of Design for Services Requirements on New Product Development Projects. This role will be onsite either at our Loveland, CO or Indianapolis, IN location. In this role, you will be responsible for: + Ensuring that product teams incorporate parts and designs which optimize serviceability and enable predictive failure analytics by leading service requirements planning, design, and implementation into project plans. + Participating in the development of AI-enabled instrument connectivity solutions + Assisting in building business cases around impact of product serviceability. + Developing and maintaining business tools to support design for service requirements planning, implementation, and sustainment. + Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and lessons learned from fielded products. Channel these learnings to improve serviceability for new products. The required qualifications for the job include: + Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, with a preference for degrees in engineering (Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science preferred) + 5+ years of prior experience in the Medical Device/Diagnostic/Life Science industry in one of the following: Systems Engineering, Technical Support Engineering, Field Service Engineering. + Experience in project management and driving structural change through a matrix organization + Experience developing and implementing product requirements for service (installation, maintenance, qualification, migration, scalability, customer needs, service needs). + Understanding of industry grade systems and software engineering architecture including familiarity with data analysis tools It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Hands on experience in the development of products or sub-systems. + Exposure to Quality Management Systems and prior experience developing procedures or work instructions. #L1-WT1 The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
