This ambitious project is set to unlock Scotland’s vast renewable energy reserves, dramatically boosting the UK’s capacity to transport clean energy from its source to where it’s needed most. With its innovative multi-directional design, EGL1 will also enhance the resilience and stability of the UK’s transmission networks, paving the way for a sustainable energy future.
