Your Role
The Design Curation Coordinator will support Gensler New York’s resource network focusing on display curation, while collaborating on library maintenance and development, and sustainability initiatives.
What You Will Do
Curate the design experience of Gensler’s Design Center resource library and the New York office’s display areas
Collaborate with teammates and external vendors to lead design innovation by identifying trends and executing display installations.
Coordinate inspiring and educational vendor presentations and installations, while helping to manage the library calendar and recurring vendor updates
Collaborate with resource librarians across the firm in developing and implementing the Gensler Product Sustainability Standards
Educate and act as the specialized resource for Gensler team and vendors
Assist team in managing materials officewide toward landfill diversion efforts
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
At least 1-2 years working experience in the interior design industry preferred
Must have experience using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Excel
Knowledge of Interior Design (specifically FF&E) manufacturers, products and terminology
Must be focused, self-motivated and able to prioritize in a very fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive and welcoming demeanor
Knowledge of design resilience and sustainability with the ability to be an advocate of the firm’s growing sustainability practices
Enthusiastic to collaborate with teammates, bringing a creative and inventive approach to tasks and projects
Established relationships with industry vendors a plus
**The base salary range will be estimated between $70-75k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
