Deputy Program Manager (Delivery)
Your Impact + Reporting to the Director of Delivery (client), the Deputy Program Manager (DPM) supports the Director of Delivery in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of construction projects within the IBR program. + This position ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. + The DPM will support the Director of Delivery with strategic planning, staff leadership, resource allocation, scope, schedule and budget management, cross discipline coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication to drive project success. + The DPM will also have a role bringing the right GEC resources and in overseeing GEC staff from various disciplines involved in Delivery Team to successfully deliver contracted scope, within schedule and budget. Who You Are Required Qualifications + Extensive experience in traditional and alternative delivery of large transportation projects including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM-GC and/or Progressive Design-Build + Ability to identify the needs of the program, bring in the resources to meet the needs and oversee the management of day-to-day tasks across multiple delivery projects. + Experience in managing a portfolio of projects, leading teams involved in project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. + Proficiency in reviewing and understanding project specifications and delivery requirements. + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with various teams and stakeholders. + Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. + Attention to detail, strong project management skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities + A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field with at least 15 years of experience. + Proficiency in reviewing and understanding contract documents. + Experience in evaluating project progress. Preferred Qualifications + Experience working on large, complex infrastructure or transportation programs including transit elements. + Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. + Experience with project management software and tools. + PE (civil or structural) license in Washington and Oregon, or the ability to obtain within 6 months + Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus. + Familiarity with WSDOT, ODOT and other local and state transportation and transit agencies, MPOs and port authorities. + Specific experience with seismic resilience projects and multimodal transportation solutions. + Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of the IBR project, including community engagement and environmental considerations. **About WSP** WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
