i3 is seeking a Deputy Program Manager in Huntsville, AL to support the SkyRange program. The SkyRange program is developing and integrating advanced sensors/capabilities and providing flight operations & maintenance for a fleet of manned/un-manned/optionally manned air-vehicle systems to support hypersonic capability development. The SkyRange test architecture includes both MQ-9 Reapers and RQ-4 Global Hawks allowing for the capture of real-time telemetry, real-time multi-spectral full motion video, maritime range surveillance and clearing, and the collection of weather data to support real-time launch decision-making for high-speed system testing (HSST). This unique capability set will increase overall National flight test capacity while greatly reducing costs associated with HSST.

Responsibilities Responsible for the overall execution of program objectives and the ability to manage complex projects on schedule and within budget. Work with customers, senior officials, and engineers to develop a strategy and road map that provides compelling and value-add innovations and new capabilities. Responsible for staffing decisions, skill mix, and assessments. Instill best practices, ensure designs meet requirements, and responsible for delivering high-quality services. Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the i3 culture and embodying i3 core values. Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals to the organization. Organize, direct and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities. Assist with business development within current customer base and/or for new customers. Manage and coordinate activities with multiple subcontractors, to include contracting, finance, and task execution.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.2-6 years of relevant experience. Hands-on technical expertise preferred. Solid background of leading projects and teams. Strong business and technical vision.  Exceptional customer relationship skills to include the ability to uncover true requirements, recommend alternative solutions and approaches, and lead acquisition and/or development efforts that meet aggressive timelines. Self-motivated and comfortable with independent and team problem solving. Excellent organization skills. Excellent with Oral and Written Communications. Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs that include multiple subcontractors, material vendors, and demanding customers. Demonstrated ability to manage costs on a multimillion-dollar design and development program to include estimates at complete (EAC) and other cost accounting methods. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
