Job description:
The focus of this role will be to assist the Depot Manager with the daily operational efficiency of the depot, contributing to the required operational, maintenance and safe working
environment. The position is based in Marquard, Free State.

Requirements:
Basic Qualification: Agricultural tertiary qualification Certification: Fumigation, Grading of maize, soya, sunflower and wheat, Health and Safety accreditation. Work Experience required:
Relevant agricultural qualification will count in the candidate's favour. 5 years of experience as a silo bag depot assistant manager. Certification in Fumigation. Health and Safety accreditation will count in the candidate's favour. Strong operational background, agile individual with the ability to multitask. Likeable / relatable person with excellent staff management skills Preventative maintenance and efficiency mind-set in an agricultural environment. Assist with ground preparation, bags layout and measurement. Solid administration skills. Good planning and problem-solving skills, a self-managed individual. Understand risks in the Agri-environment, with a focus on Maize, Soya, Sunflower and Wheat. Ability to manage a local team and drive productivity. Strong leadership qualities and ability to solve problems in a creative way.
