A vacancy has arisen within our Earth Moving Sales Support department based in Biggleswade for a Demonstrator. The role, covering Southern England, contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by ensuring the right first and continued impression is created for customers in their experience with the Liebherr brand.  The role holder through delivery, demonstration and instruction on the operation of Liebherr machines will work in conjunction with the sales function for machine hand over to the customer ensuring customer satisfaction and brand loyalty is cultivated to assist with the sales process, whilst working with the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.  

Your responsibilities as a Demonstrator

•    To demonstrate Liebherr equipment and machinery as per Company guidelines.
•    To undertake operator familiarisation for customers and their designated operators.
•    To maintain an up-to-date awareness of technical changes to the product ranges and incorporate these into the familiarisation process.
•    To educate and instruct customers and their designated operators on correct usage and best practice regarding their machine in a classroom environment.
•    Thorough exercising and satisfactory storage of stock machines within the designated area of operation i.e. North & South respectively, this includes chrome rod protection, basic lights and levels checks / top up as required. 
•    Reporting of any apparent faults on stock machines to sales support. 
•    Prepare machines to display standard in an exhibition environment and attend trade specific shows as requested.
•    Actively seeks ways of establishing customer feedback and communicates this on a regular basis to support functions.

To be successful in the Demonstrator role, you'll have to possess:

•    CPCS / NPORS tickets or equivalent for plant and earth moving equipment
•    Extensive knowledge of earthmoving, construction, plant hire, scrap and waste industries
•    Professionalism and integrity with both client and colleagues alike
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent personal organisation skills
•    Smart and well presented
•    Team player
