Job description
Provide exceptional services to guests and internal customers in other departments at all time to maintain positive interactions with good working relationships. Work closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.Wash, peel, cut and deseed vegetables and fruits.Clean, cut and grind meat, poultry and seafood.Stir and strain soups and sauces. Weigh and measure designated ingredients.Store food in designated areas.Clean workspace, equipment and utensils.Segregate and remove garbage.Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.Assist in quality control of items and set up buffet presentations.Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in ensuring that all culinary standards in that section comply with company and hotel policies, procedures and minimum standards.Understand and strictly adhere to Rules and Regulations established in the Associate Handbook and the hotel’s policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assignedBenefit
