Job DescriptionThe Chef de Partie Pastry reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine. You will be responsible for overseeing the pastry section of the kitchen to ensure consistency and product quality in the recipes of The White Room.
As Chef de Partie Pastry of the White Room you will be responsible for the following:
Training colleagues concerning product knowledge, preparation and presentation of dishes;Following the recipes and taking into account waste management and breakage;Ensuring that the pastry section is clean and tidy at all times and that all colleagues work according to hygiene and health & safety standardsQualificationsWork experience in a similar establishment, preferably Michelin star or fine dining restaurants;Experience in working according to kitchen hygiene activities and health and safety standards;Creativity, a hands-on mentality and eagerness to exceed expectations;Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a preference.
