Our client is searching for an experienced and qualified Demand Planner coming from the Retail/ Manufacturing and Distribution environment The successful candidate will need to incorporate all aspects of Demand Planning including liaison with relevant departments to plan for the South African market as well as the African continent
Responsibilities
A highly visible supply chain role that will oversee Demand Planning forecasting and inventory requirements process
This is a handson position responsible for developing and executing Demand Plan and inventory plans that will enable the organisation to meet sales and service objectives
Collaboration with other members of the supply chain sales marketing and customer support teams is paramount to achieve the KPIs
Data Analysis
Reporting
Monitoring product performance and report accordingly
Minimum Requirements
Must have flair for numbers and figures
Must hold a Bachelors degree or completed 3 year tertiary qualification
Be an analytical thinker
Be able to find solutions and be a good decision maker
Possess excellent problem solving skills
Must have excellent skills with MS Excel and/or other Business Intelligence Tools/ Planning Tools
Experience Required 2 to 3 years related work experience
