 The DME Delivery Specialist 2 handles the delivery, setup, and comprehensive explanation of various medical equipment in patients' homes. This role requires not only training patients and their families on equipment safety but also dealing with more technically demanding setups. Key responsibilities include loading vehicles, orchestrating logistics with warehouse staff, overseeing detailed work orders, and ensuring detailed communication with patients about their order specifics. Further responsibilities include managing a broader range of equipment inventory, performing precise refills of oxygen tanks, administering detailed paperwork, and executing skilled adjustments to equipment as needed. This position adheres to standard policies and practices but necessitates a higher degree of interpretation, deviation, and independent discretion to manage the complexity and variety of tasks efficiently. Performs varied activities that are moderately complex in nature. The DME Delivery Specialist 2 follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion

The DME Delivery Specialist 2 is pivotal in educating patients on the effective use of their medical equipment, often acting as the first point of contact and playing a crucial role in their healthcare experience. This position requires an understanding of medical equipment setup, cleaning, and testing. Working closely with the dispatch and warehouse teams, this role demands a high level of proficiency with the DME SKU system to ensure seamless operations. The job calls for flexibility and advanced problem-solving skills to handle more complex tasks than those at the entry level, adapting to diverse environments and patient needs. This role operates within a demanding 24/7 schedule that includes weekends and holidays, requiring a robust commitment and adaptability.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
