Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Delivery Manager to join our team with experience in the execution of Airfield related projects.

Provides direction and management for every phase of airfield aviation projects or programs with Airside access to assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.

What You'll Be Doing:

Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution.  Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client.  Assists business development in understanding client issues and business plans in order to market and secure new/additional work.Promotes technical excellence on the project, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.  Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.Works with the key project staff, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.Completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering, Architecture or equivalent from a recognized university.Master’s Degree is preferred.Chartered Engineer status is ideal.PMP certification or Equivalent.Minimum 20 years of experience in project management of similar scope. Has good background in strategy and engineering experience in the airports industry or similar industry and has construction management experience on mega projects.Aviation experience is required related to managing the construction of Airfield in an airportGCC experience is preferred.Must have experience at senior management/director level as well as having extensive experience in client facing roles.Must understand the requirements of an airfield for construction and operation.
