How will you make an impact?

The position is part of the Transportation Team, delivering goods to our customers and end users. Also making collections, picking up returns from customers or collecting from Suppliers to return to our Loughborough Distribution Centre. Performing safely and compliantly to fulfil Transportation operations at our Distribution Centre and delivery destinations.

Responsibilities:Safely transport goods and materials to designated locationsStrictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulationsDetermine the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveriesMaintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenanceCollaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operationsAssist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.Experience

More than 6 months experience in multi drop delivery driving.

Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesValid Class C (HGV) driver's license with a clean driving recordDriver Certificate of Professional CompetencePrevious Experience as a Driver, preferably in a transportation/shipping roleExcellent knowledge of UK road networkAbility to navigate using GPS and other route planning toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift heavy packages and operate loading equipmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including nights out.
