This position reports directly to the Head Football Coach and uses knowledge and expertise to provide high-level analytics to the coaching staff that best prepares the program to be successful.

  Duties and Responsibilities 
  Prior Season evaluation of Defensive calls & schemes Compiling, analyzing and grading game film Practice evaluation of Defensive calls & schemes Compiling, analyzing and grading practice film from spring, preseason and in-season practice sessions Consultation to head coach of advance scout on upcoming opponents Working with Head Coach to develop game plans Consultation to head coach of upcoming season defensive personnel Evaluating current roster and depth Mentorship, development and counseling of defensive staff Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience is necessary.     #VUCLO
