You will be playing a hand in the analysis of new sales contracts by working between multiple departments to understand the underlying costs and impacts of contracts and products. This is a role where you will get diverse exposure into a variety departments and people within the community solutions umbrella of Charter Communications.


BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Decision Support Analyst, you are responsible for driving financial growth through strategic analysis of large business opportunities, while simultaneously ensuring service level agreements for deal review are met. This individual will report to the Director, Decision Support and support leadership within Sales and Finance to evaluate and approve sales opportunities.

This position is eligible for our Hybrid Work Policy. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.

WHAT OUR DECISION SUPPORT ANALYSTENJOY MOST

Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysesIdentifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad hoc reports and tools for management reviewOverseeing and execution of capital and investment analysis, with an in-depth understanding of discounted payback period, internal rate of return (IRR) and discounted cash flow (DCF)Evaluating on pricing and terms for large multi-site business opportunities, project related analysis, and presentation for management reviewEnjoys working with other functional groups across the organization to evaluate the financial and operational performance of new business opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ year of financial analysis and reporting or related experienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related fieldTechnical skills: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and SalesForceSkills:Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of business users in a professional mannerDevelops and implement complex financial models (fluency with Excel formulas and functions)Flexible and embrace change as our business evolvesWorks independently and with team members to meet critical deadlinesSubstantial analytical and interpersonal skills, including ability to explain finance/accounting related topics to a non-finance audienceSuperior attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of SQL
