Our client in the academic sector is seeking a Debtors Finance Officer to join their team on a contract basis.  The main purpose of this position is: Provide an effective support for the Assistant Finance Manager with key emphasis to Debtors Management i.e. financial, debtors, general ledger administration, purchasing and PCard etc.

Candidate Requirements

An appropriate accounting qualification (Finance Diploma or General Administrative Diploma), OR equivalent experience, equating to 3-4 years with similar/same responsibilities as sought for this position.

A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, junior-to-middle level with well-developed administrative skills, and exposure to various aspects of administration and finance.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

Computer literacy – acceptable level of proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems experience essential.
