Debt Referral Specialist (12 month contract)

What You’ll Do:

The Debt Referral Agent is responsible the management of the Bad debt ledger. You will be processing, in respect with the local legal rules, the bankruptcy and/or the action by law to maximize recoveries.

Management of Debt files received from internal departments, Collections, FNOL, FCH and 24-7 for action with External Referral Agencies and Lawyers. Updating & maintaining the integrity of Debt Referral Agency Files. Ensure accurate monitoring of referred accounts. Management of the bankruptcy in respect with the local laws and rules: Declaring outstanding to judicial representative in respect with local rules. Monitoring payments received from agencies and direct payments, recoveries and applying the correct % of bad debt reserves. Working closely with Cash-allocation and ensure that all payments received are applied accurately. Communicating with External Agencies and Lawyers to provide suitable information and paperwork as required by court of law in line with Contracts. Reconcile supplier invoices against payments received before passing to Accounts Payable. Working closely with Do Not Rent department to ensure that all the customers who paid outstanding invoices will be removed from Do Not Rent list. Maintaining a good level of communication with internal HESC departments and with the External Agencies by providing updated information and expertise. Control the levels of backlog in the Shared Inboxes and on the Portals and inform Team Leader and the Credit Manager of any difficulties. Filing and archiving of all relevant documentation to ensure efficient filing and Administration systems are maintained. Provide training and coaching, when required according to Hertz Equipment procedures and guidelines. Ad-Hoc tasks as required, specifically in relation to FCH process to ensure accurate Referral.

What We’re Looking For:

3rd level educational background in business or legal is an advantage. Fluency in appropriate market language is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge in accounting an advantage.
