Debt Collections Administrative Assistant
Job Description

Serve as an assistant, with a minimum of 2-4 years administrative or office experience, with knowledge and expertise of all departmental functions. Perform a variety of routine and complex, clerical and administrative duties.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all correspondence and reports  Answer telephones and transfer calls within departmentHandle all clerical and administrative duties (telephones, e-mails, reviewing and editing various reports, letters and memos, faxes, mail routing, data entry on Excel spreadsheets, appointment scheduling, etc.)Create Excel spreadsheets and produce professional level Word documentsUtilize department specific software applications to produce report metrics, monitor activity and analyze dataProvide excellent customer serviceOther duties as assigned.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires written and verbal communication and telephone contactRepetitive hand/arm motion and the ability to move freely around the facilityRequires comprehension/interpretation of written and verbal instructionExcellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and switch between work assignments as needs surfacePersonal Attributes: self-starter, flexible, teamwork, ability to organize, give attention to detail and work under pressure and independently.
