Hourly base pay rate is $21.11 - $31.68/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

We’re hiring a Dealer Services Specialist II to join our team at Manheim (part of the Cox family of businesses).

In this role, you will be the pivotal point of contact for our dealer clients, ensuring their auction experience is efficient, professional and enjoyable.

What You'll Do:

Monitor and coordinate activities associated with the preparation and sale of customer vehicles throughout the auction process in ways that meet or exceed customer expectation and contribute to efficient sales operations.

Monitors vehicle preparation and sale process and communicates with lane, department managers, market sales team, and other coordinators to ensure each vehicle crosses the auction block on sale day and ensures vehicles are re-run if necessary

Provides direct communication to customers to ensure their expectations are met and service issues are resolved

Educates dealers on all Manheim products and services

Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves customer problems and issues

Serves as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and location personnel to reconcile problems and to maintain a high level of customer service

Walks vehicles for/with account representative and make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value

Reviews vehicles in sales line-up, locates missing vehicles, and coordinate with customers and operations to ensure that vehicles are prepared for sale (i.e., approval for repairs, frame checks, mileage, and VIN check)

Maintain communication with vehicle check-in and lot operations to ensure all required processing is completed on dealer vehicles (i.e., recon, inspections, details, mech checks etc.)

Follow- up as necessary with mechanical shop to determine repair ETAs

Coordinate with lot operations and quadrant coordinators to ensure appropriate scanning and organization of account vehicles

Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, determine inoperable vehicle and communicate findings to inside Dealer Services team

Who You Are:

You can think on your feet and address issues promptly, maintaining a smooth auction process. You’re committed to following all health and safety procedures and to maintaining strong relationships with dealers. Here’s more on what you have to offer:

Minimum:

A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination of education and experience, such as a degree or certification in a related discipline or 5 years of experience in a related field.

Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to perform at a high level and adapt within a fast-paced team environment.

The ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 15 pounds.

Vision requirements include being able to see close, far and in color, judge distances and adapt to changes in focus.

Preferred:

1 to 3 years of auction experience or 2 to 4 years of dealership experience.

Previous experience in sales support role.
