Dealer Services Specialist
The Dealer Services Specialist has a wide-range of support functions across the Lithia Motors, Inc company. The position will support the dealership network with the facilitation of the following: local and state licensing/compliance matters, dealership management updates, and knowledge of regulatory automotive franchise laws, to name a few. This position also requires tracking, auditing, and updating all corporate and automotive dealership records. This support position will collaborate with a variety of other Lithia Departments, both internally and externally as well as maintaining relationships and working with other outside business partners.
Location: Medford, OR or Remote, USA (PST preferred)
Compensation Range: $19/hr - $24.50/hr
Responsibilities
Research laws/regulations to complete required paperwork to obtain licenses and maintain compliance with city and state licensing requirements: i.e. acquisitions; divestitures; relocations; name; officer; line/make, and GM changes; etc. In charge of maintenance of an Excel spreadsheet of all licenses. Responsible for processing all license renewal applications to assure timely renewal before license expirationBonds: Responsible for the initial ordering and accuracy of bonds necessary for licensing applicationsComplete General Manager changes, with knowledge and understanding of each manufacturer’s requirementsCoordinate, review, and approve all applications and additional documents submitted by the General Manager candidates prior to submittal to manufacturersCommunicate and coordinate with manufacturer representatives regarding approval status of General Manager CandidatesResponsible for the development and maintenance of a spreadsheet(s) to monitor all General Manager changesAssisting in the completion of detailed franchise applications required by the various manufacturers as the result of acquisitions of new stores or renewal of existing franchise agreementsMaintaining a level of consistent communication with manufacturer representatives in regards to their requests for information associated with franchise agreements and application packagesDeveloping and maintaining relationships with third party dealers during acquisitions and divestures processCopying and filing of all documents on an accurate and timely basis as required by managementIn charge of development and maintenance of an Excel database of all legal entities and trade names (dba’s)Working with upper management to complete assigned tasks that are givenSupporting other internal & external Lithia departments with questions and issues that may ariseSkills and Qualifications
