Are you someone who can:
Ensure client frontline engagement to drive sales of Trade and Working Capital solutions by acquiring, executing, retaining and expanding business to achieve sales targets through the execution of a defined origination and sales plan, originating and structuring dealsDevelop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across the FirstRand GroupPrevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements to contain and reduce costsDeliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standardsBuild and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue, listen, advise, influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomesAnalyse and interpret Financial Statements to determine deal structuresCompile and present specialist credit reports and term sheetsConsider risks related to the deals and obtain credit approval from relevant forumsInitiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress, manage expectations to ensure stakeholders' requirements are deliveredProvide input into legal documentation and ensure that all processes are completed leading up to the closure of the deal.You will be an ideal candidate if you:
Have a minimum of a BCom degree (business related)Have 5 years’ credit experience with a thorough knowledge of Trade instruments, and must be able to use these trade instruments to structure a trade deal for the client/bankHave good presentation skills as the successful candidate is expected to present suitable structures to a client and bank (including credit)Have sound knowledge of financial analysis and the application thereof in deal structuringAre skilled at negotiating and closing structured trade deals, often focusing on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and crafting winning strategies to achieve favorable terms for both the client and the bankHave agricultural experience (advantageous) – This role focuses on agricultural commodity financeYou will have access to:
