Temp-to-Hire position$15.00 to $20.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)Following blueprint requirements; inspect, deburr, clean and polish parts in preparation for shipment to the customer.Utilize handheld rotary grinder as well as other hand instruments (i.e. files, picks, rasps, abrasive cloth, etc) to remove burrs, blemishes and flaws that result from the machining process.Follow established procedures, including Process Control Plan, for maintaining part quality and associated records necessary to prove process integrity.Utilize “Good Workmanship” standards through focused visual inspection, identifying and correcting unacceptable flaws and defects that are not necessarily dimensional in nature.Coordinate shipping / receiving and handling of parts requiring outside processing (i.e. grinding, plating, NDT, etc.).Endeavor to process parts at optimum levels and realize expected output.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow established procedures to ensure equipment maintenance and appearance.When required, assist as independent inspector for other machinists’ set-ups.De-burr/Finisher Tech Qualifications:
Demonstrated affinity for highly focused attention to detail.Knowledgeable in reading of blueprints and GDT.Demonstrated proficiency in basic hand measurement equipment and techniques.Neat, legible and understandable written communication skills.HS Diploma/GED Required.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
