DCS Field Service Engineer I - Albany, GA

As a Field Service Engineer, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300).

Key Responsibilities

\n\nPeriodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative DCS issues.\nProvide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as customer contact for service-related issues/inquiries.\nConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware, networks, and software including Experion PKS, LCN, and TPS.\nUpgrade TPN and Experion software from one software release to another software release on the live control system without causing any interruption to the customer’s industrial process.\nMigrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell’s new technology offering.\n\nUnderstand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities, providing \nBe the face of Honeywell to end-users, and competitors.\nLearn end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions.\nUse technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings to enhance customer experience.\nActively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.\n\nProvide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customers and other Field Service Engineers.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1+ years of related Field Service Engineering work experience.\nValid Driver’s License\n\nWE VALUE\n\nPrevious industry experience\nPrevious technical/installation experience\nPrevious customer service experience\nGood written and oral communication\nAdvanced Degree\nGood presentation skills\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\n
