What You Will Do
In this role, you will
Coordinate all aspects of assigned work for the EBAC Practice defined benefit implementation projects from sales transition to ongoing administration transition; includes project management and coordination of existing client support. Coordinate staffing and implementation processes with the Systems Team Director for new and ongoing defined benefit administration business on Milliman’s proprietary defined benefit administration system. Assist in the development and review of plan specifications, system setup and process coordination for new defined benefit administration implementations based on existing plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and sample calculations. Assist in support of overall work management and project management tasks associated with client technology support and development. Support marketing efforts for all defined benefit administration business opportunities for the EBAC Practice. Manage overall scope of work including documenting and coordinating with Client Relations Manger where appropriate for services outside of the initial definition of the project Initiate and participate in Practice quality improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, lead key initiatives for the team, and document procedures.
Who We Are Looking For
Required Experience and Skills
5 + years of Defined Benefit administration and implementation experience, including processing and reviewing pension plan benefit calculations and pension plan implementations. 5 + years of project management experience. Knowledge of all regulatory facets of defined benefit plan administration such as 415 benefits limits, 401(a) (17) limits, minimum required distributions, non-qualified plans and other defined benefit regulatory issues involving ERISA and IRS Revenue Rulings. Must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to effectively manage and track numerous tasks, issues, and projects at one time. Must possess the ability to effectively manage project scope and client expectations while providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must possess the ability to accomplish tasks through others in an environment with no reporting relationship. Must possess a solid understanding of the defined benefit outsourcing market and product.Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Office (Word, Excel and Power Point). Experience with Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server a plus.Personal Qualifications
Works well within a team environment and takes ownership of personal work product. Proficiency in the use of computers and other general office equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Able to productively respond to change. Excellent organization and time management skills.
Location
This role is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas, TX, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $73,000 - $144,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
