**Description**
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Database Management Intern in the CIO Services organization. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, and enthusiastic individual to assist with data management and analytics tasks within our team. Our team currently supports over 50 programs across the enterprise with the building and maintaining of applications that assist programs in tracking their everyday processes more efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate should have an interest in logic and problem-solving, possess a keen analytical mindset, and be eager to learn about how programs are developed and managed from start to finish. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will collaborate both with the internal team and externally with various stakeholders and will be required to communicate findings effectively in both written and verbal formats. As a part of our team, you will help with data analysis, data organization, and apply problem-solving skills to maintain and improve our programs’ applications. This position is 100% remote, but in-person work hours and events can be arranged if the candidate is located in the DC/Metro area.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with organizing and maintaining program-related data.
+ Apply analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in data processes.
+ Help to build program reports and metrics in the RMS tool, offering insights that support program decision-making.
+ Collaborate with team members to understand the full lifecycle of our programs, from initiation to execution, and help track and manage data throughout.
+ Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets.
+ Create new RMS accounts for users and maintain current user accounts.
+ Communicate findings clearly to team members, presenting insights and offering recommendations based on analysis.
+ Support with the creation of documentation and processes that contribute to the successful use of the program applications.
**Qualifications:**
+ Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at the Sophomore/Junior level.
+ Strong interest in logic, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
+ Enthusiasm for learning about the program lifecycle and project management.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
+ Experience in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data-related tools
+ Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ A proactive, positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with coding languages (Python, Groovy, SQL).
+ Prior project management knowledge or experience.
+ Knowledge of/experience with data analytics.

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
