Complete Description: The Senior Oracle DBA is responsible for managing a large scale environment, supporting all environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring. The ideal candidate must have with strong technical, organization, and communication skills. The Candidate is required to perform Oracle, MYSQL and SQL Server database administration activities.• Design logical/physical data modeling of all internally developed databases• Perform database-related performance tuning and optimization to improve the performance of the system• Responsible for all of the server and database security for all environments. Create necessary server and Active Directory groups in order to provide the required access to customers. Audited the servers to ensure continued compliance.• Resolves complex or ambiguous database issues• Install, configure and upgrade of software including code deployment• Participates in systems planning, scheduling and implementation• Assists with data conversion and normalization, as necessary.• Maintains existing third-party and in-house developed scripts and databases.• Create and maintain database documentation• Provide assistance with technical support to developers and analysts• Provide weekend and after hours coverage for all systems on an “as-needed” basis.
