The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Lead in a key role to lead a team of technical staff to build the next generation of capabilities for an Intelligence Community customer. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of a new data warehouse to serve as a centralized repository to enable cross-contextual business analytics through a client facing web site and application suite. The ideal candidate is technically proficient in back-end development and is keen on fostering collaboration between teams to achieve integrated and innovative solutions. This key personnel role demands leadership and a hands-on approach to researching, developing, deploying, and achieving government authority to operate (ATO) a platform that is critical to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the warfighter. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead and mentor a team of developers, data scientists and task leaders to design and implement a new data warehouse, ensuring it effectively aggregates data from diverse sources within the customer’s operational ecosystem.Develop scalable extract, transform and load (ETL) solutions to integrate, clean, and structure data for optimal analysis and reporting.Utilize cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to enable the processing of large datasets and support advanced analytical capabilities.Work closely with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and integrate business intelligence tools and analytics models into the data warehouse architecture.Collaborate with government leads and stakeholders, as well as other contract technical leads, to define project requirements, goals, and timelines.Ensure the data warehouse architecture supports future scalability and adaptability to meet evolving data analysis and intelligence requirements.Ensure the developed capabilities are compatible with the network operating environment and architecture and implement customer-directed security measures.Foster a culture of innovation by staying updated on emerging trends in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence, applying best practices to enhance the data warehouse and analytics platform.Monitor project progress, address any technical challenges, adjust priorities as needed to meet milestones, and provide regular updates to government and contract program managers.What does Leidos need from me?
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 10 plus years in software development, technology management, system engineering or related field. Eight plus years of experience with master’s degree.Expertise in Java, SQL, Oracle, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and indexing capabilities.Experience overseeing database design and presenting overview briefings and updates to government leads, partners, and customers; reporting on progress at performance improvement meetings; and identifying opportunities for increase effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and impact.Experience in the identification and mitigation of any issues or trends that pose a risk to project priorities.Favorable if you have:

Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
