In this role, as a Data Service Engineer, you will:
Be part of the Service Line team, where our ambition is to support the development of Data Product, with a high level of support and a pro-active maintenanceWork with Product Line and Business to support, improve and develop new functionality, new features and ensure the Data Product respect the SLA definedDefine, monitor, measures service(s) and makes sure that the service meets the SLADeliver, own, and manage the lifecycle of technical solutions, service offerings, associated service requests and knowledge articlesIdentify, communicate, and execute continuous improvement opportunitiesMain responsibilities:
Propose and establish technical designs to meet business and technical requirementsDevelop and maintain data engineering solutions based on requirements and design specifications using appropriate tools and technologiesSupport the data products by fixing bugs and solving incidentsCapacity and ability to work with 3rd party contractorsCreate and maintain data pipelines / ETL pipelines and optimize performanceTest and validate developed solution to ensure it meets requirementsCreate design and development documentation in Confluence / ServiceNow or SharePoint, based on standards for knowledge transfer, training, and maintenanceWork with business and products teams to understand requirements, and translate them into technical needs, and provide technical support the data productsAdhere to and promote to best practices and standards for code management, automated testing, and deploymentsLeverage existing or create new standard data pipelines within Sanofi to bring value through business use cases Develop automated tests for CI/CD pipelinesGather/organize large & complex data assets, and perform relevant analysis Conduct peer reviews for quality, consistency, and rigor for production level solutionActively contribute to Data Engineering community and define leading practices and frameworksCommunicate results and findings in a clear, structured manner to stakeholdersRemains up to date on the company’s standards, industry practices (GxP) and emerging technologiesAbout youKey Functional Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience working cross-functional teams to solve complex data architecture and engineering problems and incidentsDemonstrated ability to learn new data and software engineering technologies in short amount of timeGood understanding of agile/scrum development and support processes and conceptsAble to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and manage multiple priorities Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills related to data and technology solutions and experience with Bug fixing and solving incidentsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate ideas, concepts and solutions to peers and leadersPragmatic and capable of solving complex issues, with technical intuition and attention to detail Service-oriented, flexible, and approachable team playerFluent in English (Other languages are a plus)Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
