Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain complex sales dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights to sales leadership and representatives.
• Support sales forecasting and quota-setting processes by providing data-driven recommendations.
• Analyze sales team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify underperforming regions, products, or reps.
• Forecast sales targets and compare them against actual performance.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and account expansion.
• Conduct win/loss analysis to understand customer decision-making and improve sales strategies.
• Have proficient knowledge of Salesforce to help the company transition to the new tool in Q1 2025, including building out reports, and working with the back end
• Provide training and support to sales managers on using analytics tools and interpreting data.
• Segment customers based on behavior, preferences, and profitability.
• Clean account packages
• Own databases on rebate programs, and suggest opportunities to improve tracking systems
• Optimizing sales account packages and territory assignments and quota setting.
• Analyzing account package and territory performance and ensure equitable distribution of opportunities.
• Recommend quota adjustments based on historical performance and market potential.
• Ensure reps are not overburdened or under-utilized.
• Build predictive models to forecast revenue and customer behavior.
• Identify high-potential accounts for reps to prioritize.
• Analyze historical sales data to predict future performance.
• Optimize commission structures to align with business goals.
• Track and analyze commission payouts against sales performance.
• Offer insights to incentive plans improvements that motivate reps to achieve company objectives.
• Identify cost inefficiencies in the compensation model.

Competencies and skills

•             Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, or a related field.

•             4+ years of experience in sales analytics or a similar role.

•             Deep proficiency in SQL, Python, Salesforce (or like CRM), Excel, and PowerBI

•             Strong understanding of sales KPIs and metrics.

•             Excellent communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
