Data Scientist, Product Analytics - Retail Analytics

**Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist (experienced Individual contributor) to join our Reality Labs GTM team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing our 0 to 1 strategy for creating world-class shopping experiences in our first party branded stores (1P). You will work closely with executives to define and develop data platforms, instrumentation, experimentation, and insight synthesis to drive growth in 1P stores.

Data Scientist, Product Analytics - Retail Analytics Responsibilities:
1. Help build the long term vision and strategy for 1P retail program
2. Collaborate with executives to define and develop data platforms, instrumentation, and experimentation
3. Work independently to plan, lead, and implement (if needed) complex and timely analyses
4. Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional partners and executives
5. Partner with product and engineering teams to identify the most impactful opportunities to improve and create experiences that optimize business outcomes
6. Define success metrics, forecast metric changes, and set team/organization goals
7. Support developing Product/ GTM roadmaps and coordinate analytics efforts across teams
**Minimum Qualifications:**

8. Degree in an analytical or scientific field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research)
9. Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research) 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab)
10. 10+ years of experience doing complex quantitative analysis in product analytics
11. 10+ years of experience communicating the results of analyses to leadership teams to influence the strategy
12. Experience leading complex analytics projects across multiple functions and stakeholders
13. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

15. Background in Direct to Consumer Retail store analytics ( Digital and B&M )
**Public Compensation:**
$206,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
