Position Summary:
Our client is a significant health plan management organization, charged with managing the health care programs. Experience with similar large scale projects and knowledge of Medicaid business processes is crucial to the role. This position reports to the team lead and will assist in managing the day-to-day interface activities. In addition the analyst will support all data migration and analysis activities using established processes. The position also involves developing and executing implementation plans related to interfaces and data migrations.
Duties include
Design and testing of new interfaces.
Design of data conversion and data migration solutions for new projects.
Supporting maintenance and enhancements of existing interfaces.
Research and analyses of application data to resolve issues.
Produce ad-hoc reports to support operations and security.
Extract data from source systems and deliver to developers for conversion.
Test new and updated interfaces.
Test and approve data conversion for all new projects.
Assist in resolving issues by working as a liaison between the users and development staff.
Qualifications
4 + yrs IT exp. with strong data interface exp.
Strong understanding of application architecture, interface design and data structures.
Expert in Oracle SQL and related tools.
Experience in UNIX environment. Knowledge of soap XML architecture and ETL techniques would be an advantage.
