Description We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Moline, Illinois. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to transform business needs into actionable technical specifications and contribute to innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between multiple business units and the Analytics Team, ensuring that data-driven insights align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Develop and translate business requirements into technical specifications to support data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate with business and data owners, IT team members, security personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on data-related initiatives. • Create compelling data visualizations and reports using tools such as PowerBI and BusinessObjects Technologies. • Conduct gap analysis and AB testing to identify areas for improvement and validate solutions. • Implement Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery. • Drive the development of analytics and business intelligence solutions that meet organizational needs. • Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data and systems. • Utilize Apache Spark, Erwin Data, and other tools to manage and analyze complex datasets. • Actively engage in problem-solving, taking initiative to address challenges independently. • Support ongoing efforts to improve data storytelling and visualization techniques. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced education preferred. • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related roles. • Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python. • Strong knowledge of PowerBI, R Studio, and Visual Studio. • Familiarity with tools like Apache Spark, Atlassian Jira, and BusinessObjects Technologies. • Demonstrated ability to work within Agile Scrum frameworks. • Proven experience in data visualization and storytelling. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
