Data Product Management Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Product Management Consultant.


In this role, you will:

Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives to drive low to moderate-risk data enablement strategies, roadmaps, and deliverablesPresent recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex data product situations, and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners that impact prioritization, roadmap, and architecture designCollaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and prioritization and ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performanceManage low to moderate-complexity datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance and standardsParticipate in the creation and maintenance of data product roadmaps with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilitiesGather data requirements and document data needs from a variety of sources throughout the data product life cycleCommunicate low to moderate complexity data problems and initiatives in a digestible manner to all audiences

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Provide tactical support to data operations enablement lead in day-to-day activities (data analysis, standards documentation)Good experience in Alteryx, SQL data baseData requirements gathering, request prioritization, & delivery supportData migration and integration mappingPartner with technology data team to execute data migration and integration activitiesPartner with Master Data Governance group to update master data standards metadata dictionary and lineage documentationSupport data management team to ensure accuracy, consistency, integrity, and availability of function master data across all systems and processesSupport CAO data product management master data, reference data, and metadata enablement activitiesWorks with data requestors to develop business requirementsPartner with Data Product Manager(s), technology, and data experts to develop data design documentationWorks with Data Product Owner(s) to establish functional requirements (agile user stories)

Job Expectations:
