Commercial Senior Associate - Manchester An opportunity for a dynamic senior commercial solicitor to join a well established and collegiate team based at the Manchester office of this global law firm. Working as part of a wider national commercial team, the team in Manchester is recruiting a senior associate to work closely with the Partner with a particular focus on data privacy and technology matters. The team has expertise in non-contentious data privacy, regularly supporting clients and other teams both nationally and internationally with data privacy advice and drafting. The data work includes advisory work and a variety of both drafting and negotiating stand-alone contracts and inputting into data considerations for other teams, from corporate due diligence support to data sharing. Technology contracts are also a key focus of the team and the role will involve drafting and negotiating a variety of technology and IT contracts, taking a key part in the firm-wide technology sector, which is led by the partner in the team. You will be working with a broad range of clients to include household names across a range of sectors handling very interesting work, which involves data considerations. To work well with the structure of the team, you will need to be at least 6 PQE with experience and a passion for data privacy and technology matters.
