The Mgr, Data Privacy Program 2 leads one or more projects of moderate to large size and complexity with guidance from data privacy officer, legal consultants, and/or data privacy technical program manager. Project responsibilities include documenting business requirements, process analysis, and issue resolution. Project implementation responsibilities may include developing procedures, training materials, and communications for Church department assessments, vendor management privacy assessments, data breach privacy assessments, internal data sharing assessments, and so forth. Daily tasks will leverage privacy expertise and program management skills to solve problems creatively, strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with a variety of roles in the Church, and strong experience to drive implementation of privacy and compliance requirements through the Church. This role regularly supervises the work of other employees, manages their performance, behavior, development (ATI), provides suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of employees under their supervision. The ability to lead and develop a team, manage multiple efforts concurrently and communicate factually and efficiently across a broad spectrum of stakeholders is critical to this position. This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support business processes that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
