The AJG data organization works hand in hand with IT and the Digital organization to support the product and tools they have built. The Data Management Collective Lead/ Program Manager will oversee the Enterprise Data Management project management team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills who can work in a matrix environment and manage complex data organization projects. The Data Management Collective Lead/ Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of all data projects occurring across all the divisions within AJG, as well as the portfolio of data projects run by the corporate Enterprise Data Management team. How you'll make an impact Lead the Enterprise Data Management project management team, setting objectives, and ensuring all projects align with our company's strategic goals. Develop and implement project management standards and processes to ensure consistent project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet business requirements and are delivered with high quality. Manage stakeholder communication and reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources, adjusting as necessary to meet project goals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team, encouraging innovation and efficiency. Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and staff, supporting their professional development. Oversee a portfolio of project updates from divisional data departments to develop a portfolio of data projects occurring across the divisions. Work with stakeholders on the intake of new projects and scoping of the requirements. Create a framework for building out projects using the Agile Methodology in Azure Dev Ops Establishing a clear vision for the PMO with a delivery roadmap including interim milestones and long-term measures of success / key performance indicators. Lead project status meetings by establishing standardized reporting structures across all projects. Build and maintain relationships across the AJG network in divisional and corporate functions with data projects. Acknowledge interdependencies among programs, take action to alleviate or resolve bottlenecks, and advocate for the effective utilization of resources. Build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and senior management. About You Requires an advanced proficiency in project management skills, along with a demonstrated history of actively engaging in project planning (including Work Breakdown Structure creation) and developing automated project planning templates, within a complex data organization. Strong understanding of matrix management and the ability to navigate and lead within this structure. Capable of working independently with a high degree of self-initiative and a strong sense of autonomy. Strong communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, customers, partners, business analysts, architects, subject matter experts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. Results driven and solution oriented. Strong organization and planning skills. Comfortable challenging the ideas of others. High attention to detail & accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Azure Dev Ops and Planview. Education and Certificates: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related fields. PMP or PRINCE2 Certification Experience in Data Management. Additional certifications or training in Agile and Scrum methodologies can demonstrate a deeper understanding of these popular project management frameworks.
