What You Will Do

As a Sr. Data Loss Prevention Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our data protection efforts, responsible for the administration, maintenance, and daily monitoring of our enterprise DLP suite. You'll implement cutting-edge data protection strategies around Insider Threat and DLP scenarios, while swiftly responding to cybersecurity alerts from triage to remediation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including Cybersecurity staff, management, Developers, Engineers, and Architects.

Demonstrate ownership, leadership and accountability by leveraging the existing DLP security solution to make interactive and ongoing improvements to risk reduction strategies in alignment with global corporate policies.

Work with existing vendors to support and maintain DLP technologies (e.g., support, troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.) 

Administration of the DLP tools which includes configuring policies, tuning, upgrading and patching, etc. 

Evaluate DLP events, eliminate 'white noise' events (no action), and determine if a violation of corporate data policies has occurred and triage appropriately. 

Escalate events according to the Data Loss Prevention triage workflow process 

Strive to continually improve the DLP solutions and response protocol. 

Document architecture, processes and controls pivotal to improving the DLP program to ensure compliance with security control requirements as defined by the Cybersecurity leadership team. 

Perform periodic audits of DLP processes and systems for security control compliance. 

Assist with forensic response to security incidents by providing DLP trigger and log information as directed. 

Populate monthly metrics, using audit results, incidents, and other tracked controls to establish corrective action plans to senior management. 

Keep up-to-date with the security industry, communicating trends for existing and proposed security solutions to the Cybersecurity leadership team. This includes critical DLP vendor fixes and patches as well as leveraging creative methods to adopt and use Artificial Intelligence.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field

Experience with Netskope

Proven experience in one or more of the following: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Technology support and Event Handling, Insider Threat scenarios and using technology to perform corporate policy compliance. 

Cybersecurity concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance and correlating support of related technology. 

Previous system administration and management of DLP solutions. 

Past experience performing DLP system maintenance, rule and signature creation and tuning, query support, custom report creation, and disaster recovery of DLP operations.

Experience generating daily and monthly reports, including items, such as incident response, service requests, software updates, and performance analysis for all tools against approved baselines. 

Experience in administration of a DLP tool which includes configuring policies, upgrading and patching especially as it relates to challenges with development tooling.

Must possess knowledge and understanding of when to escalate incidents to management or the Cybersecurity SOC or Incident Response team. 

Willingness to customize DLP program to accommodate regional requirements pertaining to complexities with multiple time zones, data management and triggered events. 

Experience offloading DLP logs and event data to a SIEM solution for event correlation (e.g., Splunk, Sumo, etc.)
