The Data Integrity Team Lead will manage and develop a small team and will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day accuracy and consistency of all aspects of critical portfolio management data across all asset classes on a daily basis. This involves but is not limited to defining, implementing and monitoring processes that ensure data integrity for Guggenheim. The role will involve working directly with Trading Desks, Portfolio Management, Compliance, Client Service and other Operations groups to ensure securities are set up timely and accurately in the trading systems and their data is maintained accurately. 

 

The Data Integrity Team Lead position is part of the Data Services and Asset Services group within the Operations department based in the Chicago office.

Essential Job Functions Develop and manage the team of individuals responsible for ensuring that data accuracy, consistency, analytics, and NAIC designations are maintained across all systems and data sources.Ensure that all data produced by functional areas is accurate, consistent, and timely and that appropriate service levels are met in all internal and external delivery requirements and any issues are resolved on a daily basis.Ensure all security master data are maintained across all systems including BlackRock, PAM and others as needed.Assist in the design or revision of processes and procedures to ensure that the operational infrastructure is able to scale to accommodate strategic growth targets.Ensure all operational processes meet standards established by internal and external auditors, including SOC1 procedures.Produce global risk management and executive reporting that include diverse asset classes consolidated from multiple platforms.Monitor security data flow across various investment management software systems to ensure consistent and accurate information is used across the firmDaily assessment of the Data Integrity Group’s suite of quality control reports including security terms and conditions checks, security issuer validation, asset class sector checks, and security ticker checksAnalyze and source data from various vendors including Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, and othersPerform daily ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) ratings reviews and updatesConsult with management and I.T. on how to develop continued incremental improvement and increased efficiencies across Operations and produce monthly data metricsTrain with and learn from other groups within Asset Services including Analytics, Pricing, and Performance Attribution. Preferred Qualifications Thorough understanding of fixed income securities, including structured productsAbility to work on a team to create processes and influence changeDemonstrated commitment to teamwork and client serviceEffective project management and communication skillsCompletion of the CFA Level 1 exam is a plus, but not requiredExperience using Blackrock Aladdin software is a plus Basic Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Finance or Business related field 8 + years of Data Integrity experience /fixed income and/or middle office experience3+ years of people management experienceExcel proficiency and knowledge/use of the Microsoft Office suite Salary Details

Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.

 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­Chicago office at least 4 days per week.
