Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented **Data Governance Lead** based at our **Greenville, NC** location.
What you will do:
+ Lead the creation and execution of data, analytics, and algorithm governance frameworks to ensure compliance with standards and drive business success.
+ Initiate and oversee the Master Data Management (MDM) program, focusing on curating high-priority data for critical business use cases.
+ Act as a data advocate, ensuring governance policies are adhered to and identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and data utilization.
+ Align data quality initiatives with business objectives, identify high-value use cases, and develop plans to remediate data quality issues.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to refine how data is used across business processes, ensuring optimal analytic outcomes.

What you will need:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
+ Experience: 5+ years of experience in data management, with expertise in data modeling, integration, and governance.
+ Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data architecture principles, database concepts, and innovative digital technologies.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
+ Extensive experience in data management, including data modeling, integration, and quality improvement.
+ Proven ability to define and enforce data governance policies, educating stakeholders across departments.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a balanced understanding of business and IT needs.
+ Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across departments and resolving issues effectively.
+ Ability to assess and enhance existing data quality and governance programs while planning for new data sources and system upgrades.
