As a Data Engineering Excellence Intern, you will work with leadership cross-functionally in our organization between our Data Analytics & AI teams. With your help, we can progress in foundational enhancements, such as creating templates, automating workflows, or drafting playbooks, enabling the team to work more efficiently and effectively in the long term. You'll work closely with engineers and data scientists to support data ingestion, processing, & analytics infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating a better experience in onboarding activities for engineers joining our organizationCollaborate on internal tools and dashboards to improve data visibility and accessibilityAnalyze performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizationsParticipate in code reviews, documentation, & agile ceremonies with various engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.Proficiency in Python and SQL, interest in OLAP databases such as BigQuery and SnowflakeStrong collaboration skills. experience leading or mentoring teams is a bonusFamiliarity with Git, Linux, and cloud platforms
