About the role:

Reporting to the Manager, Global CDT & R, the Data Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data solutions that support product quality, warranty tracking, and business performance insights. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decisions that improve operational outcomes and product excellence. This position is part of the Global Quality Department located in Wood Dale, IL, and will be hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Design and maintain data pipelines to collect, manage, and analyze quality and warranty data.

Generate weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights and data trends.

Conduct EPPM (External Parts Per Million) calculations and report breakdowns by product line.

Work with Snowflake and MSSQL databases to optimize performance and data integrity.

Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.

Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring reliability and documentation accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

Proficient in SQL and Python; experience with relational databases and cloud data architecture.

Experience with business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

Hands-on experience developing tools or applications using C#.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Illinois. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
