We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of a centralized data infrastructure for our organization. This role will involve leveraging cutting-edge Azure technologies to build and manage data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, transformation, and storage of data from various sources. You will work closely with multiple teams to create a robust data architecture that supports advanced analytics and operational insights.
Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain a centralized database infrastructure using Azure cloud technologies.Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to automate data workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensure data quality, and establish best practices.Develop and maintain SQL-based solutions for data storage, transformation, and querying.Integrate Dataverse with various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure performance and reliability.Implement data governance policies to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or Related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in Azure cloud technologies.Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Dataverse.Experience with building and managing ETL pipelines and workflows.Proficiency in designing relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.Experience with data warehousing and data modeling techniques.Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.Knowledge of Microsoft’s government cloud (GCC High).Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.U.S. Citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, or Power BI.Familiarity with Python, Spark, or other data processing frameworks.Previous experience working with large datasets in an enterprise environment.
