Description We are in the process of recruiting a Data Collector in San Francisco, California, for a long-term contract opportunity. The primary function of this role is to test a mechanical gripping device and provide constructive feedback to our engineering team. This role operates within the product development industry and involves a significant amount of standing. The position also includes periods of downtime during which the device is being re-programmed by engineers. Responsibilities: • Ensuring the accurate testing of the mechanical gripping device • Providing detailed feedback and observations to the engineering team for product improvement • Handling household items for test purposes using the gripper • Assisting engineers during the re-programming of the device • Managing periods of downtime effectively • Maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the testing process • Accurately entering data related to the tests performed and the feedback provided • Performing administrative tasks related to the testing process and feedback provision • Cooperating with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations • Keeping up-to-date records of all tests and observations.
