Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience analyzing and modeling dynamic systems.
+ 5 years of experience with machine learning or algorithm development related to dynamic systems.
+ Experience coding in Python, MATLAB, or a similar programming environment.
+ Experience engaging, collaborating , and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master’s or PhD degree in engineering, physical science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience analyzing and modeling dynamic systems, including digital signal processing, time-series analysis, control systems, or Monte Carlo simulations.
+ 5 years of experience with machine learning or algorithm development related to dynamic systems.
+ Experience with software tools for machine learning and dynamic systems such as TensorFlow, MATLAB, Simulink, R, and Python libraries.
+ Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems commonly found in data center environments.

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).
As a Data Center Systems Engineer within Google's Data Center Technology Systems team, you will analyze power utilization and other dynamics of data center systems, evaluate technology integration options, and develop new strategies to optimize data center efficiency and performance.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
