Team Summary
The National Accounts Manager, Data Center Specialist is a critical team member part of our National Accounts Commercial Sales team. This position is remote based and will be responsible for Data Center customers nationwide.
Job Summary
The National Accounts Manager, Data Center Specialist (DCS) will work with building owners, property managers, and design/build firms to drive specifications around the sale of GAF Commercial products focused primarily on Data Center properties. As a National Accounts Manager, you will act as a liaison between GAF and our clients, focusing on building successful relationships and closing new business.
Essential Duties
Develop business relationships with building owners and property managers with the goal of establishing GAF as preferred manufacturer for their roofing needs.
Attend industry trade shows, conventions and other events to promote GAF systems and services with specifiers, Consultants and owners throughout the year.
Promote the use of GAF guarantees to both owners and contractors as part of a complete specification package that will include our "preferred" products and systems.
Work closely with internal sales & technical teams to deliver solutions across an expanded geography based on the customer’s locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Data Center experience required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications Preferred
Minimum 7+ years sales experience in a building materials background.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Demonstrated history of high relationship building, and conflict resolution knowledge are all a must.
Technical and professional knowledge of the roofing industry.
Strong computer skills including Google Business Suite.
Experience with SalesForce, a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be highly motivated, energetic and able to present well to large groups.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Travel Requirements: 30% Travel within assigned territory.
