Who You AreExpertise
Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 8-12 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred.Knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration, and/or virtualization is desired.Experienced in customer-facing roles including pre-sales and/or service delivery roles.Data Centre related certification (CCIE, CCNP VCP, etc.) and you have a drive for continuous learning.Deep knowledge on L2 / L3 networking protocols and technologies (VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).Strong Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform knowledge and hands-on experience.Experience in designing Data Center solutions from traditional DC standalone Nexus design to VXLAN Fabric-based SDN solutions demonstrating Single-Site Fabrics, ACI MultiPod & Multisite Fabric architectures.Technical understanding and experience on DC solutions involving network services appliances (Firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizer appliances) from a network integration perspective.Technical knowledge and understandings of cloud computing involving multiple cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google.OrExtensive hands on experience with computing, virtualization, and container environments (Cisco UCS, Hyperflex, VMware, Microsoft, Kubernetes).Leadership / Autonomy Receives limited supervision. Resolves methods and procedures on new assignments. Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates worldwide team goals into own work assignments.Mentor and develop others.
