As a Data & AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure for data generation, collection, analysis, and AI modeling. You will ensure the integrity of AriensCo master data, scalability, and data quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Technology, Autonomous Technology, business analysts, developers, and third-party partners, to design, implement, and maintain the data warehouse, data models, and AI models. Your expertise in data warehousing, data and AI modeling, data governance, and data quality will be essential for optimizing reporting, AI capabilities, and the organization’s data-driven decision-making.
The Data & AI Engineer would be expected to be onsite a few days a month.
THE DAY TO DAY...
Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain data pipelines/ETL jobs for loading data from internal and external sources into the data warehouse while maintaining accurate and quality datasets. Adhere to the AriensCo development standards for data extracting, transforming, and loading into the data warehouseAI Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models with a strong understanding of AI frameworks and best practices. Continuously monitor and optimize AI models for performance and accuracyData Warehouse Maintenance: Perform data warehouse maintenance, scheduling, and migrations for performance and accuracy. Maintain the metadata layer for BI development and referenceData Analysis: Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis to extract actionable insights. Understand BI reporting and visualization with some experience using Power BI or similar reporting applicationsIntegration: Work with the BI, integration, and software developers to integrate AI models for performance and accuracyData Validation and Quality Assurance: Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to identify and resolve data integrity issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies adhering to the organization's data quality standards and best practicesTroubleshooting/Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot ETL job and AI model issues, data warehouse errors, and performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth and uninterrupted data flowDocumentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including data integration specifications, system and data flow diagrams, and system configurationsPerformance/Monitoring: Generate reports and metrics to measure data warehouse and AI model performance and identify areas for improvementCollaboration/Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business end-users, business analysts, developers and infrastructure/systems team members to gather requirements, understand data dependencies and ensure successful ETL jobs and AI modelsData Governance/Security: Adhere to data governance policies, security and regulatory compliance requirements to protect sensitive and confidential data throughout the ETL and AI processesContinuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging data storage, movement, and AI technologies, tools and best practices. Recommend & implement process improvements to enhance ETL and AI model efficiency, scalability and reliabilityTHE QUALIFICATIONS...
